The Roseville Human Rights Commission invites residents to a free public screening of a short film Selma: The Bridge to the Ballot on Monday, August 3 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Roseville Library.
The film honors the 50th anniversary of the historic Voting Rights Act of 1965. Minnesota State Senator John Marty will introduce this film, which recounts the story of the forgotten heroes in the fight for voting rights.
