The City of Roseville’s invites you to planning and zoning open houses regarding Twin Lakes and Old Highway 8 on June 23. Both events are open to all Roseville residents and will be hosted by the City’s Community Development department.
The first open house will discuss the continuing planning process for Twin Lakes. It will be held at City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive, on Thursday, July 23 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Hosted by Senior Planner Bryan Lloyd, the open house will cover the City Council’s draft rezoning for all properties in Twin Lakes, as well as a change in the comprehensive plan’s general land use guidelines for the Twin Lakes parcels currently designated for high-density residential development.
The second open house will meet at the Sandcastle Park Building, 3060 Patton Road, on Thursday, July 23 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The event will be hosted by City Planner Thomas Paschke and will discuss the City Council’s decision to begin the process of amending the comprehensive plan and zoning map regulations that apply to 2353 and 3261 Old Highway 8. These properties are currently zoned for high-density residential development. The proposal is to change the zoning for these properties to allow medium-density development.
A summary of the comments and questions from both open houses become part of the formal applications.
